Fundamental Analysis

Fundamental analysis is the process of evaluating a financial asset by examining underlying economic, financial, and qualitative factors — such as earnings, revenue, growth prospects, industry conditions, and macroeconomic data. The goal is to determine an asset's intrinsic value and compare it to its current market price. While fundamental analysis is valuable for long-term investment decisions, it has limitations in short-term and intraday trading contexts — valuations can remain disconnected from price for extended periods due to market sentiment and crowd psychology. One-Signal deliberately excludes fundamental analysis from its signal methodology to avoid valuation inaccuracies. Instead, the system relies purely on sentiment indicators — measuring what investors are feeling and doing with real money, rather than what they theoretically should be doing based on fundamentals.
